I am joining Barb at Grits and Glamour for Tabletop Tuesday where we are sharing different vignetts and such that we have on our tabletops. I have told my friends I need more "surfaces" in my house so that I can display things on top of them....
I am not a "less is more" girl....
This is the top of my buffet in the dining room. I want to paint this buffet and that is in the works. I am thinking a creamy white....
If you have ever visited my blog before, chances are you have seen my rabbit.
He changes with the season....he is still sporting the little stocking that I got from Dawn at
The Feathered Nest, because I love it so much!
I love this vignette...I really don't know why...
it's just some of my favorite things...
Love the little rabbit on the candle....
I love your rabbit too. He is just wonderful. YOur vignette is just gorgeous. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI'm not a less is more girl either! I always think my vignettes need just one more thing...and one more...and one more! HA I love your bunny, and the little tiny one on the candle is just precious. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI have a rabbit "thang", too! : ) I love my bunnies, although I had to clean up my act with them with the house on the market. You're a brave one having yarn balls out with cats in the house! Do they ever try to play with them? The best vignettes are the ones we love for whatever reason, whether it's just items we love or those that hold special meaning.
ReplyDeleteLou Cinda,
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute little rabbit you have there on the candle...soooo SWEET! Your new camera is making some awesome pics.
Blessings,
Linda
I love that rabbit too, especially the little stocking, I think Dawn shared that pattern for it..... I think it would look cute anywhere!!! I do love Mr. Rabbit, did you make him? I think I asked you that before but my memory is slightly off lately!!!! Have a grand week!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Margaret B
Lou Cinda - what a beautiful post. I know exactly what you mean, I need more "space" too. I have more "stuff" than my "space" allows. :) My eye went immediately to the little white soup tureen. I have a passion for the,. I love the bunny and I heart the cloche, too. Thanks so much for joining in the very first Tabletop Tuesday. I hope you are able to join in each week. Blessings, Barb
ReplyDeleteI love that rabbit in the cloche...and I love the More in your space....beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove the rabbits, the one standing and the one hanging from the candle, a wonderful eye catching touch. Great design on the candlesticks. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteSandy
I can see why you love this. I think the best vignettes contain things we love and that hold meaning for us. Love the twine/yarn in the bowl--unexpected and pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Lou Cinda! Love the cloche bunny, great job!
ReplyDeleteIt all looks so pretty and Spring like.
ReplyDeleteI just adore your elegant cream platter.

Love your vignette. The rabbit in the cloche is fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteYour vignette is fabulous. I'm not a "less is more" girl either. I am putting the finishing touches on my guest room and my husband keeps telling me I'm putting too much in the room...is there such a thing!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week.
Jane
What a fun vignette - I too have a rabbit "thang". Your rabbit under glass is wonderful! I look forward to seeing your other bunnies in the weeks to come.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous display.
ReplyDeleteI am loving Mr. Bunny Boy, he looks so vintage, old and delicate like he has to stay under the cloche for protection. Spring is just around the corner. Kathysue
ReplyDeleteLou Cinda,
ReplyDeleteGosh, all your table tops are so well dressed! I have a rabbit 'thang' plus several all liked thangs....I'm certainly not a less is more kinda girl.
Thank you for visiting and commenting on my New York adventure. It was fantastic and I'm so glad that even now I have wonderful memories.
By the way, you live in a beautiful town...when we go to northern Alabama we cut across and go through Gadsden, etc....
Blessings...Betty
Hi Lou Cinda...
ReplyDeleteOhhh...you know I just adore your darling bunny!!! I have a "bunny thang" too! Hehe! He's just gorgeous under glass though and the perfect focal point for your beautiful vignette! Love your fruit embossed white platter...just gorgeous!!! Ohhh...and another one of my favorites is the silver tray filled with the pretty green mercury glass pinecones...I love how you topped off those pretties with the old vintage key!!! Love, love, LOVE that!!! My friend, your buffet vignette is absolutely gorgeous...it's right up my alley!!! Ohh..and I guess you know that I'm one of those "more is better" kind of gals too! Hehe!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and leaving me such a sweet note about my Silver Elegance vignette! Have a fabulous Tuesday, my friend!
Warmest winter wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
I love it all sweetie but that rabbit. Oh my. That rabbit is so grand and glorious and I WANT him!!!! I think you know my love affair with rabbits and yes, I WANT him!!!
ReplyDeleteYour home just sparkles!
Love,
Sue
Love bunnies too!! That is a really special 1 under glass. I love the egg cup with thread balls too.
ReplyDeleteyour rabbit is darling! the vignette is perfect, quite calming! love it all!
ReplyDeleteI love how everything on your table says something about your personality...and those are the best vignettes, to me.
ReplyDeleteI laughed when you said you needed more tabletop space...that is me. When I see things I love, my first thought is "WHERE will I put it????" So my vignettes tend to be small...
Love the rabbit and the stocking is precious. Maybe put a little red bow on it for Valentines day!!
xoxo
Jane
