I took last Friday off from work and stayed home to take down all of my Christmas décor.…I wanted to start the New Year fresh and clean…and it dang near killed me….I did not get out of my pajamas all day and it was about, oh, I would say, 5:00 p.m. before I even brushed my hair! It was SCARY people! But I got’er done…..
A few shots of the after's…
My “helper”…
I have more photos that I will share later in the week! Thank you so much for stopping by! I am ready for this New Year and have high hopes for great things

Great photos! Happy New Year Lou CInda!
ReplyDeleteI love the burlap ribbon! I hate to say it but I took down all of my decorations the day after Christmas. We had even moved the coffee table out for more room during our family Christmas get togethers and I liked having all the room, so it's still out!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots Lou Cinda! Don't feel bad I was that way for the last 2 days but it's finally all put away!!
ReplyDeleteI'll be taking all my stuff down in the next couple of days, Lou Cinda. {I wait until Jan. 6th}. I can tell you I'm not looking forward to it or going up and down the attic stairs again! I'm going to take a breather day in between before I get my "regular" stuff back out.
ReplyDeleteHave my stuff down, now to get it out of the garage into the Holiday closet and attic! You were very smart to do it all in one day! And your "helper" looks pooped ...must have worked extra hard that day! LOL!
ReplyDeleteUnique and pretty vignettes you have created! Love them all, and the way you have grouped them!
Wishing you many blessings for 2012! Can't wait to see what you have in store to share with us this year! :)
Oh, and I love your blog background! Cheerful and pretty!
ReplyDeleteLou Cinda,
ReplyDeleteLovely transformation from Christmas to the New Year! I had to enlarge the mantel photo to make sure I'd see a hare! Isn't he just the sweetest little white hare??? I have such a "bunny love" here On Crooked Creek! I'd say you accomplished a lot...lovely!
Fondly,
Pat
Starting off the new year looking good!!! It will be sometime next week before I get my Christmas decor down and put away. Love your sheet music wreath...I have all the supplies and nee to get busy making one. Very happy to have you at my party...hope you have a lot of FUN here:)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Linda
It feels good to be back to normal again! Although I do love the festivity of it all. A month was long enough, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteYour helper looks about as "helpful" as mine!!
Hope your year is off to a good start!
XO,
Jane
L.C., you can't see me, but I'm making the "aw" face after seeing your helper sleeping!
ReplyDeleteTell me girl...why is it we can be so much more productive in our pajamas. Businesses are missing the boat here. Instead of casual Friday...it ought to be sleepshirt Saturdays!
Debbie
Love your vignette on the silver tray...hope your holidays were wonderful and that the new year holds all good things for you and yours.

Happy New Year Lou Cinda! I'm looking forward to seeing your projects in 2012!
ReplyDeleteI still haven't put away everything. I'm working on it. Your rooms look nice and fresh! Hope your new year is off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh at the not getting dressed til late! For the past week, I never got clean til the evening before the husband got home at 9. Now THAT is scary! LOL I am still not done- all those trees and all the tabletop decorations are boxed up, but not put away. And the house is trashed. If I get a blog post up before the weekend, it will be a miracle. Too many other things to do! Luv your silver tray vignette and the mantel. You've been busy! Take care, toots! ~ Sue
ReplyDeleteYour "after" shots look marvelous! I love your fireplace mantel, you have made it look just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
Good for you Lou Cinda! I don't see anything wrong with staying in the jammies all day...Why not? Ummmm I'm embarrassed to say I've stayed in the jammies all weekend (Don't rat on me ok?) Lol! Anyhoo as always I love all your pretty shots! Vanna
