A Gift and a Tease...

I was fortunate to win a wonderful give away from Jane at Finding Fabulous! This fantastic throw that I absolutely ADORE! And not only me....no, no, no! I have to fight Bella for this throw! Everyday I come home and there she is.....snuggled all up in MY throw....sound asleep! See that big black tail on the back of my chair there? Simon....yeah....he squishes my cushion on the back of the chair there....drives me NUTS! I fluff it up....he squishes it down.....

Seriously....I have too many cats.....Seriously...however, I LOVE my quilt!! Thank you so much JANE!! Check out her blog and Frugalicious Friday! Great stuff!

Now a little tease about some of the stuff I have been up to this past week.....

But just a peek!!! More to come....
Have a Great Day :)

  5. Hi! Oh, your new throw is wonderful! And of course, Bella assumes it was meant for her - she has come in and taken over obviously. And Simon does know the cushiest spot in the house. My cats used to sqush the sofa pillow down too. But they are worth it...

Those pink little trees on the silver platter look so pretty...

  8. Love that throw! It's always so much fun to win a blog giveaway. I just won a Christmas wreath at Susan's blog (Between Naps on the Porch) and was excited to get it in the mail.

Your pink decorations are really pretty, too. :-)

  14. My doggies love my pillows too. The quilt is very pretty. Ooh la la I am liking the decorations.
I put my tree up two weeks ago and I am already threatening to yank it back down... just not a tree person... but I am having a party next weekend so...I'll survive.
Hope the weight watcher thing is working, I am watching my carbs... how does one gain two pounds and 25 inches? I don't get it. Two measly pounds and two sizes up.???? I told my husband I might have a full body tumor that's growing rapidly. Haha! I can't button my blouses which would have thrilled me when I was younger... augh!
You have a great day pretty lady.
I gotta go buy some carbless food.

  17. wonderful quilt...I really like your Christmas display...the colors are pretty. Seems sort of cran~berry.

Do not give up on the WW.....I started in Oct. and my goal was 15 lbs....it is only Nov. and I am almost there!!!!

6 lbs is a lot....I have eaten foods that I like and I have NOT deprived myself. If I would have been 100% strict...I would already be at goal weight. Don't let the Holidays stress you out. Eat a yummy Thanksgiving and do not worry about it.

Enjoy your food, family and friends. I am so glad I started my plan BEFORE the Holidays...the lbs that I lost...encourage me to stick with it :)

    I am rooting for you!!!!

  33. Nice quilt to wrap up in on a cold night if you can get it away from Bella:) I love the pink fluf for the holidays. Our tree is at the beach house so we are buying a new one for this house and I want to buy a tacky white one and put either all pink or all turquoise ornaments on it. Family thinks I am nuts to want this but I say I need a different Christmas look this year and one that is kinda girly and fluffy:)

  35. Lou Cinda~ I'm strolling in to catch up and especially to wish you and your loved ones (fury ones too) a Happy Thanksgiving!
It's such a wonderful time to stop and reflect on all those we cherish and are truly grateful for.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to visit and leave feeling inspired!

Even though our Thanksgiving is very small in number, with hubby and son (we don't count the cat cause she doesn't like turkey). We don't scrimp on the menu...from appetizers to desserts with several carb loaded dishes in between! We will be enjoying tryptophan playoffs too!

    Sweet Holiday wishes,
    Sara

  36. I enjoyed visiting your blog for lots of reasons. I found it from the comment you left on Joyce's blog... she always writes the sweetest comments and it makes me feel like she is a very good friend. I love the quilt and it gave me an idea for something to coordinate with my plaid couch which is quite similar to yours, only it has more blue than green. Then I saw your mention of Ashley who is at M D Anderson. I visited her blog and sent the link to my dear friend Melody who is also there! If you want, you can read a little about her on my blog, just a few posts ago... she is feeling much better now; donors of white blood cells magically appeared. Maybe she will feel like contacting Ashley, maybe not, but I thought there might be a little bit of fate involved that I found your blog! I will remember Ashley too when I pray for Melody.
