The Rabbit….sans the Acorn….

“Repositioned” the acorn to a more “comfortable” place….sheesh!  You guys…get the minds out of the gutter….just sayin’

We have the WORST Goodwill in the history of Goodwill Stores in my area, however, I was fortunate to find these plate hangers that I think are adorable!

Aren’t those little birds CUTE!  I got them both for $4.09…I have no idea what the 9 cents is for, but at our Goodwill there is always an .09 tacked on…

Moved this to my secretary….the tiny little drawing is by none other than Michelle Palmer…

Her talent is amazing….

I have also found a few new blogs that I simply ADORE and wanted to share!

Lindy at Cottage Hill is just the bomb!!  She is an artist and paints like a dream as well as having just AMAZING taste!  LOVE her!

Marcy at Antique Chase is another one that I check out everyday!  Her style and her home are just pure eye candy!  The Queen of the vignette!  I just study her photographs, usually with my mouth hanging open!

And last but definitely NOT least is Sherry at Design Indulgence!  She is a designer and has the MOST awesome taste and great ideas!!  She is such an inspiration PLUS she is SO funny!  I always laugh out loud at her posts, and so , so creative!  LOVE her too!!

You may already know about these gals, but if not, check them out!!!

Have a great day!

Kisses :)

  1. Hi Lou Cinda! Oh, my, the dirty minds in Blogland! :) I didn't think anything about that little acorn til you said you might ought to move it! :)

  3. Well, you started it! ; ) I just bought a few of Michelle's things - 3 different sizes of her pumpkin drawings. Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but I was thinking of using all three o them on a plain pillow to add a little something. They were just too cute to resist! Great plate holders, I don't think I've seen anything like that before.

Will have to check out those blogs {because I need to have 603 to read now}! : ) I trust your judgment and I'm sure I will like them as well.

  5. And here I thought our town had the worst GW!! The one lady is like a dragon snarling and breathing fire, don't know why, so now I won't buy anything there. Cute plate hangers!! Gotta check those blogs! Thanks for the heads up!

  6. Love those plate hangers!! You can't have the worst Goodwill because we do...I never find anything there. Our thrift stores are the same.

I will check out the links to the ladies, always looking for more inspiration!

  7. I adore those bird plate holders. I like anything with birds. Never understand why Goodwill prices with numbers like that. Must be a method to the madness.

  8. That's crazy about the GW prices. Our GW always has the first and last digit the same. For example, something might be $1.91 or $2.92 or $3.53, etc. Oh, I'm impressed that you are learning upholstering! Way to go! Linda

  9. Lou Cinda...you are SO sweet to mention my blog!!! Love you for that! You know if you get to Atlanta, there are about a gazillion Goodwills near me, and we can go to Scott's! By the way, I could have used those plate hangers today, my client loves birds!!!

  11. The "worse Goodwill ever" must be an Alabama thing in general. Our places never have anything but overpriced junk, either. I do love the hangers, though!!

  12. Lou Cinda, those plate hangers are so unique. Love them, and love the price too. What a precious little nest painting. I haven't visited in awhile (life just gets in the way). Your blog looks so pretty. Thank you for visiting me. (I had to go back and look at your previous post about the bear and the acorn-I am laughing out loud!) laurie
