A Vignette or Two Using Thrifty Treasures...

I am linking up with the fabulous Rhoda over at Southern Hospitality for her Thrifty Treasures Party! Rhoda has a new address which is southernhospitalityblog.com You are going to want to be able to find Rhoda....

I thought I would share a few vignettes that I have been working on. They are still a work in progress, per se...

This is sweet Chloe who was "lounging" in her favorite spot on my bench outside. I just thought this was a cute picture :)

This is a corner of my kitchen and I love the lamp. Seth got it for me and I just adore it!

Of course an obligatory shot of my honey pot that I got at the Estate sale a few weeks ago. I actually went back after it because I didn't get it the first time. It was still there, and only $2. I just love it for some reason...

This is in my den in the front window...I love that window! I am liking the way this is coming together, I changed it all around by taking my rabbit out of the window. He was pretty ticked, but I think he will get over it!

I love the birdcage, which I found at the wonderful TJ Maxx! The candlesticks I found at a yard sale for $3 for the pair and I spray painted them black.

You can also see out the window my future met monday post!

We are in the process of adding the mulch! Hopefully by next week, we will be done! We want to be done with that :)

Thank you for visiting my blog today! I hope you have a great week!

  4. You have some great vignettes. I especially like that little table in front of the window. There's nothing better than a big window. :) Are you working on a flower bed? We are too. Part of my yard has never grown grass well so now we are going to grow bushes and flowers!

  5. I sure do love that lamp, but then anything with roosters is ok by me! I have that same birdcage, and I just love it! I took it apart so that I could put some impatiens in it, and it's hanging in my garden. It will come inside for the winter. I love TJ Maxx!

  8. Cute honey, pot and read some of your previous posts. I would say the bush goes. I know from experience it will not look good in that state. Depending on the type, if you cut it wayyyyy back, it may put out and become more bushy and green. I cut some way back and they put out, and looked like new shrubbery. Jackie

  13. Hi Sweetie Pie!
I love the table arrangement in your den. Why can't I find a great birdcage like that at my TJMaxx? I have been looking for one to put on my lanai. I might even put a bird in it! The little rooster lamp in the kitchen is extra special, and I understand why. I can't wait to see the area around your lovely little bench. I remember that you got rid of a bunch of grasses. Chloe is so sweet. How is she in the grasshopper catching department? I hope your summer is ticking along beautifully my friend, and that your boss is continuing to worship the ground that your lovely stilettos walk on!
