I made a few changes to an area on my kitchen counter…moved the marble thingy that I got at a yard sale for $2 from my island to the counter where it shows up so much better…
As a little side note, I would like to point out that , as most of you know, I have a few cats….well, more than a few….okay I have four! HOWEVER, we do NOT allow our cats to get on the counters….it is simply not allowed and is against the rules…and they all know this and abide by this rule….at all times….
Yeah buddy! They toe the line around our house!
Hope you are having a great week and STAYING WARM!!
Kisses :)
We have a couple of dogs who are well behaved too! : )
ReplyDeleteSweet vignette - love the little fat bird in the chair.
Rhonda
LOL! My next door neighbor's cat is "trained" to come when they clap. She does, but she is also "trained" not to cross the street, a rule which she clearly flaunts. But I can point my finger at her and tell her to go home, and she does!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Sheila :-)
To funny! Our dog has full rein at our house. She can get on the furniture and beds. She is so spoiled. Snow is forecast here later today and tomorrow. I'm glad, if it's gonna be this cold I would like something to show for it. =) You stay warm also!!
ReplyDeleteYour vignette looks so pretty, and so does your fluffy cute cat!!
ReplyDeleteKathy
Your vignette is so pretty! Love all the thingys you've used! Oh and there is nothing more wonderful than 'trained' pets! :) You know that is darling seeing those little fuzzy faces all popped up on the counters looking all smug! :)
ReplyDeletebe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
HAHA! Too funny! I love your vignette! I've tried forever to use little lamps like that on my counters and I just can't ever make them look right.....maybe it's time to try again!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giggle Lou Cinda:) Okay, the marble thingy was 2 dollars?? I need to go yard saling with you!
ReplyDeleteLol...to cute! I believe all animals and pets should be spoiled! Love your marble thing and love the price! Looks good with your vignette on top of it!~Hugs, Patti
ReplyDeleteYes, I can see the fear of your wrath on this cat's face, Lou Cinda! Love this display and your lampshade. It reminds me of the one I just got recently for my little kitchen lamp.
ReplyDeleteLove the new vignette! I'm sure that Bella the cat was just trying to show her support for your creative efforts. When you live with three guys in the house the cats are usually the only ones who take note when you make these little changes in your rooms. Those changes are totally lost on men. Ha!
ReplyDeleteThhe marble thing was a great buy...it's perfect for creating little arrangements on. I love this.
ReplyDeleteMy dog sleeps on the kitchen table. It's the only way he can see out the window and I feel sorry for him. I do clean the table before we eat!!
XO,
Jane
Oh Lou Cinda, your kitchen vignette looks great! I love your roosters and your
ReplyDeletecat is just darling.
Enjoy your evening,
Gail
Love your vignette. Gorgeous. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLove that vignette Lou Cinda!Great score on that marble! Yeppers I too have a cat who's the picture of feline obedience! Come to think of it my dogs are pretty much equally obedient.Lol! Don't they say that owners begin to resemble their pets or vice versa? Because that is one gorgeous cat!! *winks* My Jordan is scrappy and kinda chunky! *winks* Yep I'm afraid it's true! Vanna
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up. I love coming here.
ReplyDeleteMary Ann
I LOVE the vignette on the table but that sweet kitty is just my favorite! Sweet little fur baby!

Wow, that cat in your vignette looks so real! I have three well behaved ones too. :)

Your cat looks right at home on the counter! Your vignette is beautiful. The marble piece you got for $2.00 was quite the find!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Jane
Well now, you KNOW I got a good laugh out of this one. Your little vignette looks great. Kitty and all!
ReplyDeleteLou Cinda, I do believe you have a bit of a disciplinarian problem here!! I agree with the comment before mine that says the vignette looks great, cat and all! Great buy on the marble slab and I love that lamp. hugs, Sue
ReplyDeleteHi Lou Cinda! I am laughing out loud at your post! You know I have a cat on the table in EVERY single post! All I have to do is pull out my camera and they come running! lol I love your vignette...all of my favs...roosters, transferware and old silverplate! Happy week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteWhen I first looked at those cherries I thought they had little nails in them and was wondering why you did that. Then I figured out they were the stems. I am not blond but I do color my hair so maybe the dye is affecting me! Oh yeah by the way...you can't train cats anyway.....
ReplyDeleteYou got that marble thingy for what? Lucky ducky! Love it and all the little touches along with it, minus the cats. lol Your post reminds me of Anne's over at Calamity Anne's Adventures. Sorry, I just can't do cats. Highly allergic. But yours are pretty and sassy!
ReplyDeletedropping by to wish you a h=ppy v=lentine's d=y. sorry for the wonkiness, but my 'puter is sticking keys. it's got to go to the shop which = three weeks. they told me the news to which i sighed. more on my blog, but couldn't go bye-bye without letting you know i'll be gone for some time. sigh. miss you...

The vignette is beautiful! And so is that gorgeous 'bad' kitty! :) I have 2 cats, they know the rule too...they just don't care. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt looks so nice! Your cat is adorable!
ReplyDeleteYour new vignette is so sweet and pretty. I was thinking it would make for a great still life painting when I scrolled down to the cat pics and I had a great laugh. Too cute.
ReplyDeleteHi Lou Cinda, I love love love everything about this vignette. I have the same rooster lamp in my kitchen in red. Thank you for the sweet comment you left on my new pictures and for becoming a follower I really appreciate it!!I'm following you back. Have a great weekend, Martina
