  1. It's amazing how tucking some greenery in can not only fill the spot just right, but add tat festive look, Lou Cinda! Love your kitchen island display. That little Frosty hat is too cute! I've seen various sizes used in decor this year and I think I'm going to be looking for one at the after Christmas sales.

  32. Girl, I have missed you like a front tooth! Merry Christmas here on Christmas Eve. You were right to worry, I have been a very sick puppy. Right now, I have called off Christmas except for Mr. Magpie and me. All doings, even the tree, not up, but I posted and won't waste time here. I sent Mr. Magpie to our friends' house where we go on Christmas Eve without me, and he is a bit pouty. But I just hadn't the strength to go, and who wants someone whooping and hacking in their food??? Not I, and I'm the one whooping and hacking. LOL!

The next time I do something as foolish as letting 1200 people lollygag through my house, kick me. Hard. What was I thinking? In addtion to needing to go to a rest home afterwards, I didn't get ANYTHING done for the people who really matter... my friends and family! But again, I explain it in detail on my blog... sort of. I have promised Mr. Magpie, nevuh evuh again in this lifetime! I have also promised myself. Now, let's see how long that holds! ;-)

I absolutely love your decorations, but you knew that, didn't you? I think they are just gorgeous, and I am going to steal that Frosty hat. Oh, how CUTE! And the swan looks great as does the sideboard. Super job, Lou Cinda!

Now, I want to go oggle the next post down.

Love you and wish you a Christmas that is both Merry and Bright and filled with all that is best, but how could any Christmas not be just that when we realize the real gift that God gave to us. And for that, I am eternally grateful. I'm grateful for your friendship, too, which I cherish.

    XOXOXOX,

    Sheila :-)
