My mantel is long, I mean REALLY LONG!! It is a challenge to me every time I decorate said mantel…I can’t let anything hang over too far, because we use our fireplace and it would melt “overhangage”…
That being said, the following is what I have been able to create for this Christmas Season…
Oh look! A cord!! I despise those!!! It is fixed now…
Winter has finally arrived down here in the South…we have not gotten out of the 30’s this week and snow flurries are predicted for this weekend! Okay, I am ready for summer now!
Thank you for stopping by! Stay Warm!
I am linking up with Linda at Coastal Charm for her Open House Party! Please check it out and prepared to be DAZZLED!
Kisses :)
The mantel looks fabulous! Hope you don't melt anything! lol!

Just beautiful! Your Garland is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job. Looks so festive. We got snow last weekend. I am NOT a winter person. I wish as soon as Christmas was over winter would be too! Happy Holidays
ReplyDeleteIt all looks lovely! And this freezing weather needs to go! I can take it until Christmas and then I am done! It was 24 degrees this morning when I left my house. 24! In NC!
ReplyDeleteOh...I love it! I don't think it is THAT long! More to decorate!! I love the pretty garland and lights...I can never take good pictures of lights. Very pretty, Lou Cinda!
ReplyDeleteTry to stay warm~~ ;-D
XO,
Jane
Ha! "said mantel" ~ familiar verbiage to me that you are using "herewith"! : )
ReplyDeleteI love your mantel, Lou Cinda! I think it looks great. I can attest to the "overhangage" causing meltage when the fireplace is lit. It is not a pretty sight {nor smell} and it tends to set off the smoke detector. Just sayin'.
Your mantel looks so pretty!! I love all the color.

It really looks quite fabulous! Love it, it just sparkles!

Man alive girl...that is gorgeous. The color just pops off the screen. Now that is Christmas!

Hi Lou Cinda! I love what you've done with your mantle! It's all sparkly!! And I love the Santa portrait over the mantle.
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,

Your mantle is fantabulous! I am so totally jealous of everything! I've managed to get two glass jar-thingies filled with ornaments and my stocking holders up, but that's it! LOL! I've got to get me some of those trees....LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteHi Lou Cinda,
ReplyDeleteYour mantel looks fabulous! I love the colors and the lights and the trees and the...

Lou Cinda,
ReplyDeleteLove the mantle display. You have done a beautiful job with that 7' of space. I just love the traditional reds and green of Christmas. You know of course how much i adore the glitter and glitz. We are kindred spirits of this decor. Love, love, love your house!
Better that your mantle be too long than too short! I have the short problem but I am happy that I even have a mantle since there wasn't one when I moved here. Your holiday mantle is gorgeous! You really did a wonderful job of transforming it! It's hard to hide cords on mantles, isn't it?~ Hugs, Patti
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteYour mantel is so gorgeous! And long! I think mantels are the most difficult things to decorate. I'm glad we have the cold temps, at least for a little.
ReplyDeleteOh My Goodness Lou Cinda...your mantel is just gorgeous! I just love everything about it. You did an awesome job my friend.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day,
Gail
Oh boy are you getting me inspired to decorate. Love it!
ReplyDeleteYou "type A- over acheivers" are really pissing me off. I don't have one piece of decor up yet!
ReplyDeleteYour mantel looks gorgeous! It is magazine worthy! I love all the greens and reds. I know you like red so I bet this looks beautiful with the rest of your room.
ReplyDeleteJane
Hi Lou Cinda {heart!} your mantel. It's such a pretty tree forest and nice generous full garland. The lighted wreath is a nice surprise touch. Hugs, Kim
