NIFTY THRIFTY FINDS

I wanted to participate in Nifty Thrifty finds Tuesdays with Linda at Coastal Charm, however, I didn’t find anything thrifty this past week…

SO…I decided to share some thrifty finds I have found in the past…

This is the entry to my house…almost everything on this table was a thrifty find of some sort….

The pink wreath is a boa wrapped around a styrofoam wreath form…definitely thrifty…

These lambs I bought for my mother because she loved them….after she passed away, I got them…every time I look at them…I smile….and think of her…

The silver tray I found in a consignment shop for a few dollars….

This is one of my favorite things…the egg and bird I found in a little antique store and paid $5 for it.  I keep it out year round….

You have probably seen this candlestick before…I found it at my favorite consignment shop called Esther's.  Just a few dollars for this too.

  4. Love the pink lampshade, Lou Cinda! The lambs are so cute and I need to try that feather boa wreath. I actually already have a teal feather boa, just need to get the form from the dollar store.

  8. Thank you for visiting and commenting. I love your vignettes. You display them beautifully, and yes, my room color reminds me of yours. I don't know the name of it. It's been on the walls for about 10 years. I absolutely LOVE the lambs. I understand what you mean about sentimentality. anytime I can get my hands on something that belonged to my mother, grandmother, and actually use it, it thrills me. I'm going to sign up to follow you, and I invite you to do likewise!

  11. I love those lambs. I just caught up and read about your son's accident. How terrifying. He sure must have a compassionate heart for animals. As a mom, I totally understand wanting to strap them in a stroller forever.

  15. Hello Lou Cinda, I love your pretty tray with the sweet little egg and bird. I can't believe you where able to find and only purchase for $5. What a great bargain. I love your sweet blog and I especially love hydrangea's. I love to visit Cape Cod and get my fix of them there and on Nantucket as well. I can't wait until my little lamb hydrangea's bloom. It will be a while but I'm excited. I love how they go from white, to pink, and finally to burgundy in the fall. I like to do projects with them as well. Your wreath is beautiful. Can't wait to spend more time looking at your blog. Thank you for visiting me and leaving your kind comment on my bluebird jar topper project for “DIY Day". I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I hope you have a wonderful day. I am now following you:)
    Hugz,
    Kim
