I LOVE T.J. Maxx! I mean I REALLY love it! I go in there on an average of 3-4 times a week, because you know, I gotta find the good stuff cos’ it doesn’t last long in there. I have learned the hard way that if I see something I want, I better get it then, because if I decide to “think about it” and come back…it will be GONE!
So yesterday I went in and found a few things…the little domed pedestal is one find. I mean, I kept thinking I really don’t know where I will use this but…I REALLY love it! And at $12.99?? I got it!
Now my favorite part of this photo would be the TJ Maxx price tag still on the bowl! lol I really need to pay better attention!! Just sayin’
The marble slab, if you remember, I got at a yard sale for $2. It is one of my favorite things…. :)
Yeah, I know….rabbits….but I already had them and I was trying to find something to put under the dome with a little color…
They really look happy in there…all smiling and all…
Cherries….a bowl full of cherries….
a rogue cherry….
I LOVE these dishes! This bowl was $2.99 at the Maxx and I grab them every time I see one in this pattern…
My old flatware found at a yard sale for a dollar or two…
More Rooster plates! Got these at the Maxx also and the candles were Laura Ashley candles. I got four for $4.99 and just tucked three of them in the basket…in case of a power outage you know, they will be handy…yeah right!
Thank you for visiting…
Kisses…
Lou Cinda :)
Ooooohhhhh, such pretty things! I wasn't planning on leaving the house today, but I think I may need to visit Maxx now!

ReplyDeleteHow sweet Lou Cinda. You got some really great things there. I love the Rooster dishes as well and I've seen them at TJ's too. I have those same little bunnies. They've found their way all over my house over the years.

Great finds, Lou Cinda! I definitely agree ~ whenever in TJ Maxx, Home Goods or Marshalls grab it while you see it! Things turn around awfully quick in all three. I really like your rooster plates. Sometimes they have the odd transferware plate and I usually pass them by because there is an odd number of them (like 3), but I think I might start picking them up. Who knows, I may see 3 more at one of the other stores.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love TJ Maxx!! I have learned to grab it while it's hot. I like that you go 2-3 times per week. I have to avoid going or I'd be broke! lol!
ReplyDeleteLove all your goodies, especially that Frenchy rooster dish! The marble slab is perfect for rolling out dough! Love it!

ReplyDeleteI'm addicted to TJ Maxx too, I've had to stop going so much because I always find too many things I want!
ReplyDeleteTJ Maxx is the best! I can only hope one comes to my area eventually! Such darling things you've found! Congratulations on finding them :)
ReplyDeleteThat TJ Maxx place is always soooo much FUN...I always get it when I see it and know that I can return it later if I want to...I have also learned the hard way! I so love that rooster pattern:) Hope you have a FUN weekend Lou Cinda!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

LouCinda, I agree...TJMaxx is just fun! And you are right...if you see it, get it. Things don't stay there long! Love the way you put things together. Though you didn't mention the S & P shakers, I am still kicking myself for some like yours that I saw at GW - 99 cents each - ARGH! I passed them up, feeling like a miser that day. Oh, they are pretty! I wish.... Linda
ReplyDeleteThis is hilarious, but I really luv TJ Maxx also that I even named my 2nd dog "Maxx"! Everyone thinks it's Max but I always correct them and say Maxx with two X's after TJ Maxx.
ReplyDeleteI luv your finds, in fact I've seen the cloche with the pedestal plate, but I didn't get it. Now that I see yours, I want one too. Happy weekend Lou Cinda!

Seriously, when are you coming over to decorate my house??!! Love all of it!! =)
ReplyDeleteGreat finds LouCinda! I have got to quit logging into you page or take a second job. Love it all!
ReplyDeleteI walked through it today! I've seen those plates on blogs and have been looking for them in my store, but they don't seem to have them yet! Anyway, great finds!
ReplyDeleteManuela
Wow you got some bargins. That plate is simply adorable. Love it all. I don't always have a place in my head for the things I buy but I figure I will find a spot when I get them home! Your order will be going out tomorrow. Thanks, The twins
ReplyDeleteI love the rogue cherry! LOL! You are so funny, and you and I shop alike. Oh, how I love TJ Maxx. And I've fallen head over heals for Home Goods. There's only home stuff and no clothes to weed through to get to the good stuff! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI was so bad this past week. No computer access = lots and lots of visits to stores. There are several in the North Florida area, and I hit most of those (seven or so) and some in Central Florida (three) over the weekend. Mr. Magpie was thrilled that my computer is working again! ;-)
XO,
Sheila :-)
It really is a sickness, you know. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLou Cinda, All of your purchases are the best! Love the rooster pattern and your cloche. And your arranged them so sweetly. Aaahhh cherries...
ReplyDeleteOff to visit the Maxx. hugs, Sue
